This Personal Data Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the Privacy Policy) applies to all information collected by the personal blog “EventMate” (hereinafter referred to as “EventMate”).

General provisions

  • Use of the EventMate website by the User implies acceptance of this Privacy Policy and the terms and conditions for the processing of the User’s personal data.
  • If the User does not agree with the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy, they must stop using the EventMate website.

The Administration may use the User’s personal data for the following purposes:

  • To identify the User registered on the EventMate website for further authorization.
  • Providing the User with access to personalized data on the EventMate website.
  • Establishing feedback with the User, including sending notifications and requests regarding the use of the EventMate website, processing requests and applications from the User.
  • Determining the User’s location to ensure security and prevent fraud.
  • Confirming the accuracy and completeness of the personal data provided by the User.
  • Creating an account for using parts of the EventMate website, if the User has agreed to create an account.
  • Notifying the User by email.
  • Providing the User with effective technical support in the event of problems related to the use of the EventMate website.
  • Providing the User, with their consent, with special offers, newsletters, and other information on behalf of the EventMate website.

Methods and terms of personal information processing

  • The User’s personal data is processed without time limits, by any legal means, including in personal data information systems using automation tools or without using such tools.
  • In the event of loss or disclosure of personal data, the Administration has the right not to inform the User about the loss or disclosure of personal data.
  • The Administration takes the necessary organizational and technical measures to protect the User’s personal information from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying, distribution, as well as from other illegal actions of third parties.
  • The Administration, together with the User, takes all necessary measures to prevent losses or other negative consequences caused by the loss or disclosure of the User’s personal data.

Rights and obligations of the parties

The User has the right to:

  • Make a free decision about providing your personal data necessary for using the EventMate website and give consent to its processing.
  • Update and supplement the personal data provided in case of changes to this information.
  • The user has the right to receive information from the Administration regarding the processing of their personal data, unless such right is restricted in accordance with federal laws. The user has the right to request the Administration to clarify their personal data, block or destroy it if the personal data is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, illegally obtained, or not necessary for the stated purpose of processing, as well as to take measures provided by law to protect their rights. To do this, it is sufficient to notify the Administration at the specified email address.

Dispute resolution

  • Before filing a lawsuit in court for disputes arising from the relationship between the User and the Administration, it is mandatory to submit a claim (a written proposal or an electronic proposal for voluntary settlement of the dispute).
  • The recipient of the claim shall, within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of the claim, notify the claimant in writing or electronically of the results of the consideration of the claim.

Additional terms

  • The Administration has the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy without the User’s consent.
  • The new Privacy Policy comes into force from the moment it is posted on the EventMate website, unless otherwise provided by the new version of the Privacy Policy.
